You Belong in Rome
You're a big city girl with a small town heart
Which is why you're attracted to the romance of Rome
Strolling down picture perfect streets, cappuccino in hand
And gorgeous Italian men - could life get any better?

Here are pictures of Aaron and I at our wedding.  We felt so blessed to have such a beautiful day.  We are sure enjoying married life.  It's been fun getting our house together.  It's taken some time to get everything in order.  School is definitely keeping me busy.  I'm loving my OB rotation.  I work with babies and their family all day.  I love what I do.

Sing with me now!! "We're going to the chapel..and.. we're.. gunna' get married!"  IN 12 DAYS!!!!!!

I recommend never to start the most intense nursing program EVER before getting married.  I'm taking semester long courses in 6 weeks.  I'm loving it though.  I started my clinicals last week and they're not that bad.  they sort of just throw you into the system pretty quickly and you have to learn.

If you have some time pray for my sanity.  I have finals the week of the wedding.  I am looking forward to that HONEYMOON.  I will finally be able to sleep.  Midnight to five isn't cutting it for me anymore.

I'm engaged!!!!!  Aaron proposed over a week ago.  I'M GETTING MARRIED.  Hands down he is the most amazing man I have ever met and he wants to marry me.  I have been so giddy these last couple days!!!

Here's what he did....Starting on Valentine's day he began leaving roses all over my apartment with letters tied onto them.  He would leave about three to four a day.  Each letter described a characteristic or quality of me that he loves and for the first time he began signing his letters with LOVE, Aaron.   So I was beginning to think something was coming.  We had a double date planned with another couple to go to the Chicago Auto Show on Thursday evening.  This happened to also be my only night off from work that week.  He called my about 3:30 with the news that Amanda and Kris had something come up and we were not able to go to the Auto show.  He told me he didn't want to spoil my night off so he would cook dinner for me and he would pick me up at 7.  He also added "why don't you dress up a little".  In the mean time my roommate Andrea, who knows the whole plan, is in my room when I get the call is having the toughest time keeping her eyes on the computer and not look suspicious.

Aaron picks me up and we go to the Metro office.  He is actually house sitting an amazing loft for the couple that live above the office.  We walk into the house and there are rose petals to a table for two that has been completely set for us.  He made with the help of Andy Brandt and Mark Covel an amazing meal.  Fruit salad, french onion soup, steak, potatoes, and vegetables.  After dinner he asked me if I wanted dessert, I was too stuffed at the time.  He then grabbed my hands at the table and told me some of the most amazing things.  At this point im shaking and he walk around the table and fumbles in his pocket and gets down on one knee and asks me to marry him.  I stopped breathing in there somewhere so I lost the oxygen to my brain at that time so I don't exactly remember what he said. But I said YES!!!!

The loft has a sunken living room with hardwood floors.  Earlier he had moved out all the furniture and put a CD together, so we could dance.  He's really good, however, at one point he let go of my hand and I ended up whacking him pretty hard across the face.  We haven't danced that much together since we started dating, so we're still working on that.  He also brought his guitar and played some Rascal Flats and Shane Bernard.  There were also a couple songs that he just made up about us.

I thank God so much for putting him in my life.  I couldn't be more grateful.  It was the most amazing night I have ever had.  And to top it all off.  I got a letter from Loyola College of Nursing the next day and I got accepted.  I am just spilling over with joy!!

For all of you who have been wondering, I am still alive.  I survived that skydiving adventure with Aaron, Ana, Joel, Abe.  I absolutely loved it.  I did get overly excited on my decent when I tried to pull my rip-cord at 10,000 feet.  Luckily my instructor hid my cord from me and he pulled it at a safe 5,000 feet.

I have taken much of a hiatus from blogging I'm sorry to say.  But what's exciting is that I'm dating a great guy.  Aaron asked me out at the end of August and life began to get extremely busy this fall.

I'm really getting excited about Christmas this year.  There is already snow on the ground...Andrea and I's apartment is very festive...all the women in my family are coming up to Chicago for the annual Daily family shopping trip(THIS WEEKEND)...and Aaron is taking me to the Nutcracker Ballet (What a great man!!)
